Monochromatic Thanks a Latte

Here's my take on the current challenge at Global Design Project.  My card includes elements from the inspiration card, including a pair of images arranged around a long banner strip and a background with stamped images.

Instead of a pastel color scheme, I went with a neutral monochromatic color palette.  I stamped a pair of coffee cup rings on a Sahara Sand panel in dark brown ink, then added the stamped and die cut to go cups on top.  One cup was adhered directly to the panel and the other was arranged over a long dark brown fishtail flag strip using foam tape for dimension.  I stamped the "thanks a latte" sentiment from the SugarPea Designs Espresso Yourself stamp set on a kraft panel in brown ink. After matting it with dark brown cardstock, I used foam tape to adhere it to the panel, overlapping both of the to go cups.  The panel was matted on dark brown cardstock, then adhered to the Sahara Sand card base.

Materials Used:
Caffeine Addict and Espresso Yourself stamp sets, Coffee to Go Cup dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black and Espresso Truffle inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Sahara Sand and Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); circle dies (Spellbinders); circle punch (EK Success); foam tape
