Keeping Christmas-October 2019

It's time for the October installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team!  For this month I used an adorable snowflake image and some cheery patterned paper along with the current Mojo Monday sketch for my wintery design.

Jingle All the Way card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Hello Bluebird
I used the layout's medium sized circle to create a simple wintery scene featuring images from Hello Bluebird. The snowman image from the Frosty Friends set was stamped on shimmery white cardstock to give it a snow-like sparkle, then colored with Copic markers.  I colored up a pine tree image, too, then cut out both images by hand.  They were adhered to a snowy background using foam tape.  For the layout's other circles, I turned to a piece of festive striped patterned paper from an older patterned paper collection and a solid pink cardstock.  All of the circles were matted on red cardstock, then arranged on a patterned paper panel with a strip of solid blue cardstock across the middle.  I stamped the "jingle all the way" sentiment from the Typed Christmas stamp set on the pink circle, then accented the circle with a red seam binding bow with a red jingle bell attached to the center.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating light blue card base.

Don't miss what the rest of our team has created to inspire you to get a head start on your holiday card making!  There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing.  Here's where to find the team members:
