Hello Honey

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  It's a somewhat loose interpretation of the layout, but I think it works...

Hello Honey card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
I colored up the bee image from the Paper Smooches Giddy Bugs stamp set with Copic markers, then used the matching die to cut out the colored image.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a subtle shimmer to the bee's wings with a clear glitter brush pen.  The image was adhered to a pale blue card base with foam tape.  I used a section of a large clear crystal flourish to serve as the bee's fight trail.  I stamped the "hello honey" sentiment from the PS Bee Mine set in red ink beneath the flourish.  A trio of red enamel hearts arranged around the bee completed the design.

Materials Used:
Giddy Bugs and Bee Mine stamp sets, Giddy Bugs Icons dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black and Lady Bug inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); clear Sparkle glitter brush pen (Spectrum Noir); Soft Sky cardstock (Stampin' Up!); clear crystal flourish (Want2Scrap); heart enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
