Special Delivery

Here's my card for the current challenge at Global Design Project. I paired the sketch with images from Hello Bluebird's Frosty Littles stamp set for this sweet winter themed design.

Special Delivery card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Hello Bluebird
The snowmen images were stamped on shimmery white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then cut out with my Scan 'n Cut machine.  For texture I added a bit of white flock to the red hat on one of the snowmen.  Each image was adhered to a light blue square with a strip of torn shimmery white cardstock "snow" along the bottom, using foam tape for dimension.  I matted each panel on darker blue cardstock before arranging the panels on a piece of blue cardstock with multicolored stripes.  The "special delivery" sentiment from the Typed Christmas set was stamped on a narrow red cardstock strip and positioned over the image panel on the right using more foam tape for dimension.  The finished panel was adhered to a blue card base matching the mats beneath the image panels.

Materials Used:
Frosty Littles and Typed Christmas stamp sets (Hello Bluebird); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Spring Rain and Blueberry Sky cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); The Winter Matstack (DCWV); white flock (Stampendous); foam tape
