Here's my card for
the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I put together a fun music themed birthday card using stamps and dies from
SugarPea Designs. The record from the Greatest Hits set is my focal image. I die cut the pieces from black, red, and silver cardstock, then used foam tape to arrange them on a white panel. The panel was matted on red cardstock, then layered on to a black patterned paper panel from an older patterned paper pad. After matting the patterned panel on red cardstock, I adhered it to a black card base on an angle. The set's "classic" birthday sentiment was stamped on a red cardstock strip and adhered to the cardfront using more foam tape, overlapping the die cut record just the tiniest bit. I debated adding some sequins or enamel dots, but in the end, decided to keep the image panel clean and simple with its gender neutral black, white, and red color combination.
