A Little Note

Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics "something old, something new" themed challenge.  I paired the challenge with the current (for a few more hours) sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch for this sweet design.

A Little Note card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
For my something new, I went with Lawn Fawn's You're Just My Type and Love Poems stamp sets and the A Little Note Line die.  I colored up the typewriter from the You're Just My Type set with Copic markers and paired it with one of the birdies and a teeny tiny speech bubble from the Love Letter stamp set--my something old!  The images were arranged on a pale gray panel to coordinate with the letter patterned paper I used as a background for the image panel.  After matting the image panel on red cardstock, I adhered it to the patterned paper panel over a contrasting golden yellow cardstock strip edged with red to tie it all together.  For the sentiment, I cut the A Little Note Line Border from red cardstock and positioned it just beneath the cluster of images.  I used sentiments from the You're Just My Type and Love Poem sets to stamp the "to say I ❤ U" beneath it to finish the thought.

Materials Used:
You're Just My Type, Love Poems, and Love Letter stamp sets, Love Letter and A Little Note Line Border dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Coral Reef ink (Gina K Designs); markers (Copic); Poppy Parade cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Be(you)tiful 6x6 paper pad (Authentique); foam tape
