Color Throwdown 574-Sending You Lots and Lots of Love

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  We're back after our winter holiday break with colors chosen by our hostess, Amy Rohl--red, brown, and white. 

I paired the colors with the current challenge from the Paper Craft Crew for a sweet love themed design.  I started out by using a dotted stencil and Barn Door distress ink to create a background panel.  The background was topped with a pair of layered oval die cuts, one red and one white.  I stamped the "sending you lots and lots of love" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Crazy About You set on the white oval in brown ink.  To set the ovals off from the background, I tucked a chocolate brown banner strip cut with RC's Tag Me die underneath the left side of the layered ovals.  I accented the panel with a red die cut heart placed over a twirled length of gold thread.  A trio of red sequins arranged around the heart completed the design.
