Happy Heart Day

Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I used stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti for this love themed design.

Happy Heart Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
I used a die from RC's Love Notes die set as the base for my focal image.  I cut the frame element from pink cardstock, then filled in the center with a piece of heart patterned paper from the From Cupid 6x6 paper pad.  The frame was adhered to the lower right corner of a red card base.  I topped it with a pair of hearts stamped with a patterned image from the Patterned Hearts stamp set. The hearts were adhered on an angle for interest and with foam tape for a little dimension.  The set's "happy heart day" sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of red cardstock and adhered to the cardfront overlapping the frame element and the heart pair.  A trio of pink enamel dots arranged around the heart duo completed the design.

Materials Used:
Patterned Hearts stamp set, Salsa and Piggy Bank cardstock, From Cupid 6x6 paper pad, Patterned Hearts and Love Notes dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Love Letter and Angel Pink inks, Versafine Clair Nocturne ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); pink matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); corner rounder; foam tape
