You Bake Me Happy

You Bake Me Happy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  I represented each of the layout's wide rectangular panels with a shelf cut with one of the Kitschy Kitchen dies.  After cutting a pair of shelves from kraft cardstock, I adhered them to a Sno Cone card base, positioning the top shelf at the left edge of the cardfront and the bottom shelf at the right edge.  I stamped up a pair of canisters and a pair of bowls using stamps from the Kitschy Kitchen set and cut the stamped images out with the matching dies, then used foam tape to arrange the pieces on the shelves.  I decided I needed one more pop of color, so I stamped a bunch of lemons and added them to the large bowl.  The "you bake me happy" sentiment from the You Bake Me Happy stamp set was stamped just beneath the bottom shelf to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Kitschy Kitchen and You Bake Me Happy stamp sets, Sno Cone cardstock, Kitschy Kitchen dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black, Lady Bug, and Dandelion inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Iced Aqua ink (Reverse Confetti); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
