Birthday Bunny

Birthday Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Hello Bluebird
Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the sketch to create a birthday card featuring one of the cuties from Hello Bluebird's Just Sayin' stamp set.  I colored up the bunny and balloon images with Copic markers, then used my Scan 'n Cut machine to cut out the colored images.  After stamping the "birthday wishes" sentiment on the bunny's sign, I used foam tape to arrange the images on a narrow white panel.  The panel was matted on blue cardstock, then adhered to a jade green card base with a strip of multicolored dotted paper along the left side.  The round, slightly irregular shape of the dotted pattern echoes the shape of the bunny's balloons.  A length of blue satin ribbon wrapped around the patterned paper panel and secured with a simple knot completed the design.

Materials Used:
Just Sayin' stamp set (Hello Bluebird); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Vintage Jadeite cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Baja Breeze cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Hip Hip Hooray 6x6 paper pad (American Crafts); blue satin ribbon; foam tape
