Color Throwdown 581-You Make Life Bloom

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week with an abstract art inspired color palette-gray, lime green, fuchsia, and purple.

I paired the colors with the current challenge at Sunday Stamps, a layout featuring a tag as the focal point.  I used Reverse Confetti's Tag Me die set to cut a tag from gray cardstock.  I filled the tag with a mix of bright floral images from RC's Blooms 'n Buds stamp set before using foam tape to adhere the tag to a piece of purple dotted patterned paper.  The "you make life bloom" sentiment from the Sentimentally Yours stamp set was stamped beneath the tag in VersaFine Clair ink--my favorite for getting a crisp, dark sentiment on a dark or busy background.  I think the sentiment has an encouraging tone, at least enough to fit this month's RC Stock Your Stash challenge!  The tag was topped with a hot pink bow to contrast with the dark purple background, then I adhered the panel to a coordinating purple card base.
