Happy Heart Day
The theme for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge is "lots of love." I was inspired by the rainbow array of heart icons on a clean white background and used that as the jumping off point for my clean and simple design.
My hearts were created with Lawn Fawn's Candy Hearts dies and a bunch of rainbow colored cardstock scraps. I arranged the hearts on a white card base using foam tape for dimension and mixing the placement of solid and word filled hearts for interest. The "happy heart day" sentiment from the Let's Toast stamp set was stamped to the left of the heart arrangement in black ink. I debated adding some enamel dots or sequins as an accent, but in the end, skipped the embellishments entirely and let the hearts take center stage in this easy to mail design.
Materials Used:
Let's Toast stamp set, Candy Hearts dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Only Orange, Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Lovely Lilac, and Pacific Point cardstock (Stampin' Up!); foam tape
