Hello Baby

Hello Baby card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn FawnHere's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the layout's half circle element ask the background for a sweet scene featuring stamps from Lawn Fawn.

The mama and baby bunny from the Hello Baby stamp set are the focal point of my scene.  I stamped the images on kraft cardstock and added a little shading with Copic markers before cutting the images out with the matching dies.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I used a bit of white flock on the bunny tails to add some texture to the design.  After adhering the half circle to a yellow card base, I added two strips of green "grass" to the bottom before positioning the bunnies using foam tape.  To fill in the scene, I die cut a pair of clouds from shimmery white cardstock and a teeny tiny heart from pink cardstock and arranged them to the left of the bunny duo.  The set's "hello baby" sentiment was stamped on a narrow blue strip and placed beneath the bunnies to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Hello Baby stamp set, Hello Baby dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Barely Banana, Soft Sky, and Certainly Celery cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Rose Petals cardstock (Recollections); Crystal Stardream cardstock (The Paper Cut); circle dies (Spellbinders); Grass border punch (Fiskars); white flock (Stampendous); foam tape
