Write On

Write On card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
Here's my card for the current Global Design Project challenge.  I represented the layout's four rectangular panels with a pencil image from Reverse Confetti's Worm Wishes stamp set.  The stamped outline images were colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die.  In keeping with the office supply theme, I spaced the pencils as evenly as I could on a square of gray patterned paper with a random paper clip panel.  The panel was layered on to a golden yellow mat to match the pencil, then wrapped with a length of yellow baker's twine that Isecured with a simple bow.  The panel was adhered to a gray card base to match the patterned paper panel.  I stamped the "write on!" sentiment on a small piece of gray cardstock and used foam tape to position it over the two right-most pencils to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Worm Wishes stamp set, Stone cardstock, Worm Wishes dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Teacher's Pet 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); yellow baker's twine; foam tape
