A Little Note to Say Hello

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I combined the layout with elements from the inspiration photo (jewel toned color scheme and nature themed imagery) to create my card.

A Little Note to Say Hello card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
My floral images are from Reverse Confetti's Petals 'n Posies stamp set. I stamped the floral images in vibrant lilac and purple inks, then cut them out with the matching dies.  I used foam tape to arrange the flowers in a staggered stack on a pale purple card base with a wide strip of darker purple cardstock along the bottom edge.  For more dimension, the center of each flower was dotted with a gray enamel dot.  To transition between the two purples, I added a narrow strip of silver cardstock, tucking it beneath the raised flowers.  The hello sentiment from RC's Simply Sentiments set was stamped to the right of the flowers in purple ink to complete the design.

Materials Used:
Petals 'n Posies and Simply Sentiments stamp sets, Grape Soda cardstock, Petals 'n Posies dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Grape Jelly, Lilac Posies, and Olive Grove inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Lilac Grace cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Silver cardstock (Recollections); gray enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
