Color Throwdown 584-Lucky

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Amy Rohl is our hostess this week with a St. Patrick's Day inspired color combination--lime green, green, black, and white.

Lucky to Have a Friend Like You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-digi stamps from Verve Stamps
I paired the colors with the current Mojo Monday sketch and a St. Patrick's Day themed digital stamp set from the much missed Verve Stamps.  I printed the mug image and sentiment using my laser printer and added some color to the mug with Copic markers.  After cutting out the mug with my Scan' n Cut machine, I used foam tape to adhere it to a white panel.  I matted both the image panel and the sentiment panel on green cardstock, then arranged the two panels on a lime green gingham panel over wide strips of lime and black cardstock. The gingham panel was matted on contrasting black cardstock, then adhered to a lime green card base.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD584If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd584 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and our March Guestie Cat Craig.
