From the Whole Herd

The theme for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge is inspiration from movies, songs or books. Being a kindergarten teacher, I took my inspiration from a classic kindergarten tune--Old MacDonald Had a Farm.  Lawn Fawn's Hay There stamps were perfect for bringing my vision to life!

From the Whole Herd card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I stamped a bunch of the set's animals and the barn, too, then colored the images with Copic markers before cutting them out with the matching dies.  For the background, I adhered a piece of curvy edged green gingham paper to the bottom of a light blue card base.  I played around with a few arrangements of the animals before settling on what you see here. The individual animals were adhered to the cardfront with foam tape for dimension.  I added the barn at the top of my gingham hillside, tucking a cheery yellow pinking circle "sun" and some clouds beneath it to fill in the sky.  The set's "happy birthday from the whole herd" sentiment was stamped on two green cardstock strips and adhered to the left side of the cardfront to finish the design.
