It's time for another Color Throwdown! Jodi is our hostess with a bold mix of colors--teal, coral, cream, and green. I paired the colors with the current challenge at Sunday Stamps and some floral stamps from Avery Elle.
After die cutting a bunch of pieces from white cardstock, I used the challenge colors to stamp up a mix of flowers and leaves. I played around with the arrangement of pieces for a while before settling on what I used here. The images were secured beneath the top right corner of a teal cardstock panel. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a little dimension to the flower cluster by dotting two of the flowers with enamel dot centers. I topped the panel with a cream rectangle stamped with the elegant "thank you" sentiment from the Fabulous Florals set in matching teal ink. The matted sentiment panel was adhered to a green dotted patterned paper panel over a piece of coral satin ribbon secured with a simple knot. I matted the patterned panel on teal cardstock, then layered it on to a coordinating green card base.To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.
