You Rock

Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I created a masculine design with a trio of star die cuts and a simple, graphic patterned paper strip.

You Rock card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from SugarPea Designs
The arrow patterned paper was edged along the left side with a narrow strip of navy cardstock, then adhered to a greige card base.  I used navy ink to stamp the "you rock" sentiment from the SugarPea Designs You stamp set to the left of the patterned paper strip.  The text was surrounded by a trio of die cut stitched silver stars that I adhered to the cardfront using foam tape for dimension.  I accented each star with a silver sequin.  Not the most masculine embellishment, but I think it still works!

Materials Used:
You stamp set (SugarPea Designs); Memento Nautical Blue ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Sahara Sand and Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Little Wonders 6x6 paper pad (Bo Bunny); stitched star dies (Lil' Inker Designs); silver sequins; foam tape
