Color Throwdown 590-So Full of Gratitude
It's time for another Color Throwdown! Wanda is our hostess this week with a great mix of colors--navy, yellow, kraft, and green.
I paired the colors with the current sketch from Fab Friday and the Modern Frame stamps and dies from Concord & 9th. It doesn't show well in the photo, but the frame and panel in the middle of the frame are cut from shiny gold foil cardstock. I arranged the die cut pieces on a yellow patterned paper panel with a leafy print, then dressed up the frame with die cut flowers and greenery. To give the cluster some dimension, I anchored the flowers with foam tape and dotted the tips of the kraft branches with yellow Liquid Pearls. The set's "so full of gratitude" sentiment was stamped in navy ink on a white fishtail flag strip. I adhered it to the upper left side of the frame using foam tape for dimension. The finished panel was adhered to a green card base.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD590. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd590 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our April Guestie Judy Rozema, and this week's Guest Star Stamper Nancy Storms.
