You're My Superhero

You're My Superhero card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas
Here's my card for the current challenge at The Paper Players.  The layout's large panel was a perfect fit for the superhero bunny image I had colored earlier in the week as part of the current Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

The bunny is from the My Hero set from The Cat's Pajamas.  I colored the image with Copic markers, then used my Scan 'n Cut machine to cut out the colored image.  I adhered the image to a stitched rectangle die cut using foam tape for dimension. The set's "you're my superhero" sentiment was stamped just beneath the image in black ink. I matted the panel on navy cardstock, then adhered it to a red gingham patterned paper panel. To tie it in to the mat, I layered the gingham panel on a piece of navy cardstock before adhering it to the front of a red card base.

Materials Used;
My Hero stamp set (The Cat's Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Navy cardstock (Recollections); Pure Poppy patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); stitched rectangle die (Lil' Inker Designs); foam tape

  1. What an adorable super-hero, Lori! And I love him against the red gingham creating his patriotic red-white-and-blue color scheme! Thanks so much for sharing it with us over at The Players this week! :)
