It's time for another Color Throwdown! Broni is our hostess this week with a pretty mix of colors-pink, blue, and yellow.
I paired the colors with the current sketch at Sunday Stamps and the Wheelie Amazing stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs. This was the first time I've used the set's bicycle image and it was super easy to stamp, die cut and assemble. I even added brads to the bicycle's wheels! Once I'd put the bicycle together, I added the puppy in the basket and flower basket accessories to personalize the bike. I used foam tape to adhere it to a white circle that I'd inked around the edges with some pink distress ink. The image panel was matted on yellow cardstock and placed on a pink card base edged with a yellow striped patterned paper strip and a narrow blue cardstock strip. I stamped the set's "you're wheelie amazing" sentiment in blue ink on a narrow strip of yellow cardstock and positioned it just beneath the wheels of the bicycle using more foam tape for dimension.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD593. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd593 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper Elizabeth Hart.
