You Are a Classic

You Are a Classic card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
Here's my card for the current (for a few more minutes!) challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I represented the layout's large central shape with a record album die cut created with the Greatest Hits stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs.  After assembling the record player arm, I used foam tape to position the album and arm at the center of a white cardstock panel.  The "for the record you're not old, you're classic" sentiment was stamped just beneath the die cut pieces in black ink.  The label in the center of the album was stamped with happy birthday to go with the sentiment.   I placed scraps of star patterned paper edged with narrow strips of blue cardstock at the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a blue card base to match the patterned paper and the label on the album's center.

Materials Used:
Greatest Hits stamp set, Greatest Hits dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Baja Breeze and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Gold Foil cardstock (Recollections); designer paper (My Mind's Eye); mini brads; foam tape
