Hope Your Birthday Is a Hit
Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. I represented the layout's round panel with a die cut old school record album cut with the Greatest Hits die set from SugarPea Designs. The album die cut was adhered to a golden yellow card base with a piece of music note patterned paper on the left side. I used a matching piece of golden yellow cardstock for the label at the center of the album to tie the elements together. The record player arm was also added to the cardfront using more foam tape for dimension. The "hope your birthday is a hit" sentiment from the coordinating stamp set was stamped in black ink on a pale gray cardstock panel and added to the cardfront at the bottom of the die cut album.
Materials Used:
Greatest Hits stamp set, Greatest Hits dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Fine and Dandy 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); mini brad; foam tape
