Flowers For You
Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge. I paired the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (color scheme, checked pattern, and yellow flowers) to create this simple floral design.
My flowers were created with the Rad Roses die from Paper Smooches. I cut the outline from white cardstock and pieced the flowers and leaves with yellow and green cardstock. The finished piece was adhered to a wide light blue fishtail flag strip. I adhered the strip to the bottom of a light blue gingham panel, placing the straight edge of the strip up against the left side of the patterned paper panel. There was just enough room left on the strip to stamp the script "for you" sentiment from PS's Word Up stamp set. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating light blue card base to match the fishtail flag strip with the floral element.
Materials Used:
Word Up stamp set, Rad Roses die (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts): Lemon Tart and Simply Chartreuse cardstock, Spring Rain patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Bashful Blue cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape

Such a pretty card Lori. Those yellow flowers really pop off that banner and gingham DSP. Thanks for joining us at Fusion Card Challenge this fortnight. Tristan DT.
