Sending Love

HSending Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designsere's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  When I saw the layout's four triangular panels, I immediately thought of an envelope.  So I flipped the sketch on its side and created a faux envelope from a white rectangle cut diagonally to create four triangles. I adhered the triangles to a contrasting red card base.  The faux envelope was topped with a pair of red die cut stitched hearts.  I adhered the hearts with foam tape for dimension and so I could slip one end of the stitched sentiment flag die cut with the "sending love" sentiment from the Lil' Inker Designs Sending you stamp set heat embossed on it in white underneath the raised pieces. A trio of silver sequins arranged around sentiment strip and die cuts completed the design.
Materials Used:
Sending You stamp set, Stitched Heart and Stitched Sentiment Flag dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch cardstock, Snow embossing powder (Recollections); silver sequins; foam tape
