You Rock--and Sparkle, Too!

You Rock card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
The theme for the current challenge at Perfectly CAS is "sparkle."  That immediately brought to mind stars and led to this simple neutral colored design.  My star element is a stitched star that was created with a die from Lil' Inker Designs.  I used foam tape to adhere it to the bottom right corner of a gray card base.  The "you rock" sentiment from LID's Seriously Awesome stamp set was stamped in silver ink on a black stitched sentiment flag die cut and heat embossed in silver, then placed on the cardfront overlapping the die cut star.  A trio of glittery white enamel dots were arranged around the card to bring in one final sparkly element on the design.

Materials Used:
Seriously Awesome stamp set, Stitched Stars and Stitched Sentiment Flag dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Weathervane cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); white glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
