Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. The Happy Birthday Border die from Lil' Inker Designs and some fun patterned paper helped me to put this one together in just a few minutes.
I cut the birthday border die from bright pink cardstock and layered it on to a strip of green cardstock. After matting the strip of darker green cardstock, I adhered it to the patterned paper panel on an angle. The mix of pink, green, and blue circles make for a festive backdrop for the die cut. I matted the patterned panel on pink cardstock to match the die cut, then adhered the matted panel to a green card base that matches the background behind the die cut. Such a fun design and easy to pop in the mail, too!
Materials Used:
Happy Birthday Border die (Lil' Inker Designs); Hibiscus Burst, New Leaf, and Green Parakeet cardstock (Papertrey Ink); designer paper
