Here's my card for the current challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch. I used the layout to create a birthday themed design using the Greatest Hits stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs. The set's album was a perfect focal image! I arranged the die cut pieces on a dark blue circle matching the label element I created from the album. To frame the image panel, I used the Concentric Circles stencil to ink a round pattern on a light blue panel in darker blue distress oxide. I added the image panel on top, trimming off the left edge so it was even with the panel's edge. The set's "happy birthday to you" sentiment was stamped on the album label, then I added the record player arm on the right side of the die cut, using more foam tape for dimension. The finished panel was adhered to a dark blue card base matching the mat beneath the album and the album's label.
Materials Used:
Greatest Hits stamp set, Greatest Hits dies, Concentric Circles stencil (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Broken China distress oxide (Ranger); Ocean and Silver cardstock (Recollections); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); black mini brad
So cute!
