The theme for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge is "make the sentiment the star." I made Lawn Fawn's Scripty Birthday die the focus of my rainbow themed birthday design.
The rainbow was created with narrow strips of cardstock rescued from my scrap pile. The scripts were arranged on a panel of aqua dotted cardstock. Once they were in place in traditional rainbow order, I topped them with a die cut sun and shimmery white clouds cut with the Spring Showers dies. The scripty "birthday" was cut from black cardstock and adhered over the rainbow and clouds. To finish the sentiment I added narrow strips of aqua cardstock stamped with text from LF's All the Clouds and Happy Happy Happy stamp sets. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating pale aqua card base.
Materials Used:
All The Clouds and Happy Happy Happy stamp sets, Scripty Birthday and Spring Showers dies (Lawn Fawn ); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange, Green Galore, Lovely Lilac, and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Aqua Mist cardstock, Aqua Mist patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Red Punch and Ocean cardstock (Recollections); Crystal Stardream metallic cardstock (The Paper Cut)
What a clever card!
