Color Throwdown 613-Hey Cute Ghoul

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Broni is our hostess with a bold and vibrant mix of colors--red, orange, and purple.

I paired the colors with the current sketch from Sunday Stamps and stamps from Paper Smooches to create a fun Halloween card. My focal image is the witch from the Halloweenies stamp set.  I colored her up with Copic markers and used the matching die to cut out the colored image. I used foam tape to adhere the colored image to an orange plaid patterned panel with a purple star-studded panel along the right side.  The negative space in the die cut panel was backed with silver cardstock for some sparkle.  For contrast, I placed a narrow red cardstock strip at the top of the panel, tucked beneath the raised image.  The set's "hey cute ghoul" sentiment was stamped on a wider red cardstock strip adhered over the purple panel and tucked beneath the raised image for a clean look. The finished panel was adhered to an orange card base to coordinate with the patterned paper panel.
