Truly Grateful

Truly Grateful card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti

Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the layout for a simple, easy to reproduce seasonal thank you design.  I built the card around the large scale plaid patterned paper that I used to cover most of the rust colored card base.  The plaid panel was topped with a large stitched banner die cut that matches the card base.  I stamped the "truly grateful" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Fall Foliage stamp set in brown ink on a kraft fishtail flag strip and layered the stamped strip across the top of the banner die cut.  The sentiment was accented with a simple wood veneer leaf to go with the seasonal color scheme and theme.

Materials Used:
Fall Foliage stamp set (Reverse Confetti); Memento Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Terracotta Tile and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); patterned paper (Target); Fishtail Flag STAX and Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX dies (My Favorite Things); wood veneer leaf (Recollections)
