Cartoon Rose Hello

Hello card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Altenew

Here's my card for the current challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I'm still trying my hand at the pretty layered florals from Altenew, so I inked up images from the Cartoon Rose set for the layout.

I stamped the pair of roses in a mix of pink and purple inks, then cut out the stamped images with the matching dies.  Instead of coloring the leaves, I stamped them in Olive ink on green cardstock before cutting them out with the dies.  The images were arranged at the top of a pale pink card base over a trio of gold foil cardstock strips.  The roses were adhered with foam tape for dimension and the leaves were tucked underneath the raised images.  The set's simple "hello" sentiment was stamped just beneath the bottom of the three gold strips in Purple Wine ink.  A trio of pink sequins arranged around the floral cluster completed the design.

Materials Used:
Cartoon Rose stamp set, Permanent Black, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, Cosmic Berry, and Olive inks, Cartoon Rose dies (Altenew); Sweet Blush and Simply Chartreuse cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Gold Foil cardstock (Recollections); pink sequins; foam tape
