Color Throwdown 622-Sunlit Flowers Thank You

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Barbara is our hostess this week with a monochromatic color duo paired with some neutrals--red, burgundy, cream, kraft

Sunlit Flowers Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Altenew
I paired the colors with the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch and a pretty multistep flower stamp set from Altenew.  I used red and burgundy inks to stamp a pair of flowers from the Sunlit Flowers set. The leaves were stamped in kraft ink on cream cardstock.  After cutting out the images with my Scan 'n Cut machine, I arranged them on a cream panel, leaving enough space at the lower left side to stamp the "thank you" sentiment in burgundy ink.  The image panel was matted on burgundy cardstock and adhered to a matching burgundy card base over a kraft panel with a strip of shiny gold foil cardstock across it.  The gold picked up some of the burgundy when I photographed it, but I promise it's super shiny and golden IRL!

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD622If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd622 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper Cat Craig.
