Holiday Cheer

Holiday Cheer card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
Here's my card for the current challenge at Sunday Stamps.  I represented the large element on the layout with one of my favorite Paper Smooches snowman images.  This one was stamped on shimmery white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die.  I made a background for the image with a light blue cardstock panel embossed with a snowflake pattern and a shimmery white snowy hillside cut with one of the PS Stitched dies.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I brushed the raised snowflakes with some shimmery ink to give them an ice-like look. The image was added on top using foam tape.  I surrounded it with a trio of silver sequins then added the "holiday" cheer sentiment beneath the image.  The finished panel was adhered to a green card base to match the snowman's scarf and the mat beneath the sentiment strip.

Materials Used:
Swanky Snowdudes and Christmas Sampler stamp sets, Stitched dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black and Versafine Dazzle inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); New Leaf cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Bashful Blue and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Crystal Stardream metallic cardstock (The Paper Cut); Snowflakes embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts); silver sequins; foam tape
