Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I think pretty much everyone is ready for the sun to set on 2020 and to move on to better things in 2021...This card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics new year themed challenge.

I used a trio of instrument playing animals from Lawn Fawn's Critter Concert stamp set for my focal image. The animals were colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching dies.  I added party hats from the Year Nine and So Much to Say sets for a festive look.  The animals were arranged at the bottom right side of a pale gray cardstock panel using foam tape for dimension.  I added a trio of balloons from the High Five set to fill in the panel.  The "happy new year" sentiment from the Simply Winter Sentiments set was curved on my clear block, then stamped just to the left of the horn blowing bear.  I added a sprinkling of silver sequins for more festive sparkle and shine, then adhered the finished panel to a golden yellow card base to match the gold of the instruments and the balloons.
