Peachy Kind

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge. I paired the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (color scheme, leafy florals) to create this design using stamps and dies from Altenew.

You're So Kind card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Altenew
My flowers and leaves are from Altenew's Bold Bunch stamp set.  To get the pale peach tone for the base layer of the flowers, I stamped the solid image twice in two different color inks, stamping off first to soften the colors.  I started with Sunkissed ink, then topped it with a layer of Rouge to get a soft peachy color. The second layer on all of the flowers was stamped with Rouge ink "full" strength.  I cut the flowers and leaves out with the coordinating dies, then arranged them on a cream circle.  The flowers were attached with foam tape for dimension and the leaves were tucked underneath.  I adhered the round panel to a pale green cardstock rectangle.  The rectangle was layered on to a cream panel over a strip of shimmery gold paper.  There was just enough room at the bottom of the green panel to stamp the "you're so kind" sentiment from the Sentiment Strips stamp set beneath the image panel.  I adhered the cream panel to a green card base matching the piece behind the image panel to complete the design.

Materials Used:
Bold Bunch and Sentiment Strips stamp sets, Bold Bunch dies, Sunkissed, Rouge, and Olive Crisp inks (Altenew); Spring Moss cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold paper (Target); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
