With Deepest Sympathy

Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. I used the layout to create a clean and simple sympathy card. The layout's large panel was perfect for the large branch from Altenew's Leaf Canopy stamp set. I stamped the leafy branch in olive green ink on a pale green card base. The bottom section of the card was filled in with a piece of coordinating leafy patterned paper edged with shiny gold foil cardstock. I stamped the "with deepest sympathy" sentiment from the versatile Sentiment Strips stamp set in dark brown ink on a narrow kraft strip, then used foam tape to position the sentiment at the left side of the cardfront. A trio of green enamel dots arranged around the sentiment strip completed the peaceful design.
