Color Throwdown 639-Birthday Wishes

 

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Vickie is our hostess this week with a warm, earthy mix of colors--yellow, orange, red, and kraft.

I paired the colors with the current Fab Friday Challenge and stamps from Reverse Confetti to make a cheery birthday card. My focal image is the cute tiger from the Heart Pals stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers then cut out by hand and adhered to a white die cut oval. The "birthday wishes" sentiment from the Party Pals stamp set was stamped to the left of the image in black ink. I adhered the oval to a wide golden yellow cardstock panel. After edging the panel with narrow strips of red cardstock, I layered it on to an orange panel centered on a kraft card base.
