Sew Much

Sew Much card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches

Here's my card for the current challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I created a sewing themed design with stamps and dies from Paper Smooches.

For the long panel that stretches the width of the cardfront, I stamped the stitched heart and cross-stitch heart images from PS's Needle Little Love set in red ink, alternating the orientation of the images so that they nested nicely next to each other. The panel was adhered to a pale pink card base with a cable knit pattern embossed along the bottom section. The stamped panel was framed by a pair of red strips with a cross-stitch pattern die cut into them. The set's "I {heart} u sew much" sentiment was stamped above the stitched strip on the right side of the card using the same red ink I used for the heart images.

Materials Used:
Needle Little Love stamp set, Stitched dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Lady Bug ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Blushing Bride cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Cable Knit embossing folder (Sunny Studio)
