Color Throwdown 642-Thanks So Berry Much

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Barbara is our hostess with a yummy color combination--red, pink, green, and brown.

Thanks So Berry Much card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
I tried, but I couldn't get the strawberry theme out of my mind, so I just went with it! The big, bright berries were created with Reverse Confetti's Berry Sweet dies and red and green cardstock scraps. The layout for the card is based on the current Mojo Monday sketch. I paired the berries with a green gingham panel. The panel was matted on brown cardstock before I adhered it to a pink and green background panel. The seam between the pink and green pieces was hidden by a narrow strip of red cardstock. The "thanks so berry much" sentiment from RC's Berry Sweet stamp set was stamped in brown ink on a cream panel. I matted the sentiment on red cardstock before centering it on the gingham panel. Once the pieces were in place, I added the berries at the bottom left of the sentiment panel. The finished panel was adhered to a red card base to match the berries.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD642If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd642 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
