Color Throwdown 686-Thanks a Bunch

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lisa is our hostess this week with a mix of colors inspired by a sweet succulent arrangement--purple, sage green, and cream.

Thanks a Bunch card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Altenew
I paired the colors with a layered floral stamp set from Altenew and the current challenge from The Paper Players for this simple design. I stamped the layered bloom repeatedly in purple inks over a cream panel, then added in small green leaves. The panel was cut in thirds, then matted each piece on green cardstock before adhering them to a purple cardstock panel. The panel was centered on the front of a green card base. For the sentiment, I die cut a large "thanks" from gold foil and purple cardstock. The pieces were layered slightly offset, then adhered over the trio of stamped panels. I stamped the "a bunch" sentiment from Altenew's Halftone Thanks set in green ink on a narrow strip of green cardstock and positioned the strip beneath the die cut word to finish the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD686.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd686 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper DJ.
