Color Throwdown 696-With Deepest Sympathy

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lisa is our hostess with a classic and earthy neutral plus pop of color combination--kraft, cream, and green.

With Deepest Sympathy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Altenew

The layout for my design is from the current Sunday Stamps challenge. I built my design on a kraft card base. A strip of green cardstock, matted on a cream panel, was adhered to the right side of the cardfront. I cut a piece of cream patterned paper with a green grid pattern on an angle and placed the pieces on the green strip. The patterned piece was topped with a leafy branch stamped with Altenew's Leaf Canopy stamp set and cut out with the matching die. I stamped the "with deepest sympathy" sentiment from the Sentiment Strips stamp set in brown ink on a narrow cream strip. The strip was attached to the cardfront using foam tape for dimension.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD696.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd696 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper Ashwini Rao.
