Sue has designed another great template to coordinate with this stamp set. The rocking horse will make a perfect centerpiece for baby showers and other child-related celebrations. You can find the free template here.
Here’s my take on the template. I cut the horse body from brown cardstock and stamped the star border pattern from the Rock-a-Bye set repeatedly on a piece of blue cardstock for my own custom-made designer paper for the box between the horses. I used paper punches to add some details, like the eyes and coordinating saddle. I machine stitched along the curved rockers and added brads at the end as simple accents. The fringed mane was created with a little help from a pair of Martha Stewart fringe scissors.
The box is the perfect size to hold a small baby bottle. I’ve filled this one with pastel M&M’s.
