Chicken Girl Design June Images are Here
The latest additions to the Chicken Girl Design digi stamp line are now available at i {heart} papers. This month's collection includes 4 fun images: New Home, Sizzling Good Time, World's Greatest Dad, and Sending Some Love.
I made this sweet card using the new Sending Some Love image and this week's sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. I printed the image on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. The tiny heart on the love note's envelope is coated with Stickles and the flowers each have a tiny self-adhesive pearl center to add some dimension and shine to the image. I cut out the colored image with a Nestabilities Labels 9 die. I love the fun shape of this die!
The cardfront is covered with some patterned paper from Basic Grey's Sugar Rush line. I layered a strip of solid yellow cardstock, edged with a narrow red strip, down the center of the patterned paper panel, then added a strip of red crepe ribbon for a pop of color. I stitched along the edges of the solid cardstock with my sewing machine (with the "assistance" of Chloe the cutie puppy . . .). After I set the image panel on the card, I added a matching bow at the bottom.
