Spreading Good Cheer card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper SmoochesI took my inspiration from a few of the photo's elements, including the gingerbread shaped marshmallow and the plaid napkin.  One of the gingerbread images from the Paper Smooches Giddy Gumdrops set is my focal image.  I stamped the image in white pigment ink on a piece of brown cardstock, then heat embossed the image to give the image an icing-like look.  The details were filled in with a Pico Embellisher, which is also dimensional.

The image was as adhered to a red die cut circle using foam tape.  I placed the circle on an olive cardstock panel over a pair of coordinating layered paper panels.  The set's "spreading good cheer" sentiment was stamped in white on a fishtail flag strip and heat embossed, then added to the card with one edge tucked beneath the image panel.

Materials Used:
Giddy Gumdrops stamp set, Gumdrops Icons dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink, Lady Bug irRESISTible Pico Embellisher (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Old Olive, Real Red, and Creamy Caramel cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Spring Moss cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Season's Greetings 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); Recollections Snow embossing powder (Michaels); circle die (Spellbinders); Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape

  1. Super cute card Lori. Sweet gingerbread man image. The white heat embossing looks great... I also love the designer paper.
