Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 207-We Go Together
It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I ended up cheating a little by stretching the sketch from a cute little square to a standard A2 sized card--hope that's okay . . .
My focal image is from the Clear and Simple Stamps Foodie Fun set. I stamped the salt and pepper shaker pair on a white panel and colored the images with Copic markers. The "we go together like salt and pepper" sentiment from the coordinating Foodie Fun Sentiments set beneath the colored images in gray ink. I wanted to give the image a little bit of color, so I stamped a heart between the shakers in red ink.
I matted the image with black cardstock, then adhered it to a gray panel embossed with a dotted pattern. I tucked a contrasting red die cut Favor Flag strip under the image, then layered the panel on a white card base.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
