Some Bunny Loves You
So, it’s no secret that I can’t resist a cute bunny image. Given that, there was no question that I’d be adding Mama Elephant’s new Honey Bunny set to my collection right away. I inked it up for the first time for this week’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
I made the large panel into a simple scene with a piece of light blue paper that I inked with distress inks and a cloud stencil to create a sky. The grass is made from a piece of dotted paper cut with ME’s Landscape Trio dies.
Once the scene was done, I added in one of the set’s bunnies, colored up with Copic markers. I stamped the set’s “some bunny loves you” sentiment on the right side of the panel in teal pigment ink, then added a trio of red stamped hearts next to the bunny to fill in the empty space. I matted the finished scene on green cardstock, then adhered it to a light blue panel set on a white card base. Too cute!
And, as if this cuteness wasn't enough for one day, I have an exciting announcement to share later on this morning. Be sure to stop back by and check it out . . .
Materials Used:
Honey Bunny stamp set, Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Memento Luxe Teal Zeal and Love Letter inks (Tsukineko); Tumbled Glass distress ink (Ranger): Limeade Ice cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Lime Twist-Life of the Party 6x6 paper pad (My Mind’s Eye); foam tape
