Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 221-Wish Big

After a short break, we're back with a new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I used some new stamps and dies from Avery Elle for this sweet design.

My focal image is the bunny from the Storybook set. I colored the stamped image with Copic markers and die cut it with the matching die. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a little flock to the bunny's tail to make it look fluffy!  I made a simple nighttime scene as a backdrop for the bunny using a piece of blue dotted paper with a strip of green cardstock at the bottom. A trio of die cut gold stars was clustered at the top of the panel. I stamped the set’s “wish big” sentiment at the bottom of the panel in black pigment ink, then added the bunny using dimensional dots, positioning the image so it looks like it's gazing at the stars above it.

I wanted a soft feel for the card, so I used a paper with muted diagonal stripes to cover most of the cardfront. I topped it with a matted aqua cardstock panel, then added a contrasting pink cardstock strip across the cardfront.  The finished scene is layered on top.
