Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. With Valentine's Day coming up next month, I used the first Mojo sketch of the new year to make a love themed design.
I built my design on a blue on blue dotted patterned paper panel. After adding a red cardstock panel, I adhered a shiny silver cardstock strip across the dotted panel. The round sentiment panel was added on top. I mixed and matched a few different stamps from Verve's Take Note set for the sentiment --love how the fonts look together! I accented the sentiment panel with the set's envelope image. To go with my love theme, I used a tiny heart stamp to "seal" the envelope. The finished panel was adhered to an easy to write on white card base.
Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time. A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along. Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch! You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:

ReplyDeleteLori, I love this card. It's simple yet elegant. By simple, I mean that there's not a lot of frou-frou to distract the eye.
ReplyDeleteI love the sketch and your take on it.
ReplyDeleteJust fabulous, Lori!
